It sucks dick though. They completely disregard all the characters, time period and geographical location for the sake of pandering. Honestly, I just want good TV series and movies.

I really enjoyed the series. Sure, it has some obvious flaw, like the BAME casting, green screens and timeline fuckery. But overall, I found it thoroughly enjoyable. It's doing amazing on IMDB as well, for now.

- Geralt lacks a lot of his wit - Yennefer lacks any good dialogues - Triss lacks good casting - story lacks cohesion since it was dumbed down and rewritten for no apparent reason - camera work and art direction lack in general (especially Brokilon, what the fuck?) - music (apart from Jaskier songs) lacks character and is so generic it hurts It's "ok" to watch, it's nothing special though, a far cry from the brilliance of both the games and the books.

If this is talking about the different fans bonding over the show, the bonding is more so bonding over how awful some of the casting is. Like triss and yen are just tools to be PC and inclusive with no regards to how the actual characters are. The casting of the show pales in comparison to the game. Though Henry Cavil does pretty well as Geralt
